Shereen Arazm, Partner
Shereen Arazm is a vanguard of Los Angeles cuisine, creating an unrivaled class of restaurants that are local favorites of internationally recognizable Hollywood players and household names around the world.
Arazm’s creations carry a variety of flavors and pizzazz. Her diverse palate is showcased in the restaurants which she created, owns and operates (Tinsel Town’s most choice tables): Geisha House, Parc, Terroni, and Bella in Los Angeles.
Arazm, a native of Toronto, Canada, began her career working at the original Terroni Restaurant. At 21, Arazm left Toronto moving to New York City where she worked at prominent city hot spots like China Club and Limelight; giving her the impetus for creating contemporary and modern dining with fantastic food. As the industry evolved, Arazm moved to Los Angeles in 2000 and made an immediate impact. Her first venue, the Concorde, opened in 2003 as the premiere destination for Hollywood’s A-list and the intersection of celebrity, industry and media, it gained international fame itself. The success continued with her second outing, El Centro Bar and lounge, which debuted in 2004.
Then in late 2004, Arazm was introduced to chef Gen Mizoguchi at the opening of famed Megu in New York City and knew she had to bring him to Los Angeles to help launch her next project. Later that year Arazm made waves in Los Angeles with the introduction of Geisha House, a 10,000 sq foot restaurant that would pioneer the comeback of Hollywood according to the front page of the New York Times in Dec 2007. In 2005 Arazm and the Dolce Group launched Bella, a simple Italian eatery on Hollywood Blvd and in 2006 she followed that up with supper club Shag. Early in 2007 Shereen met celebrity chef Jason Harley and opened the intimate restaurant Parc with critical acclaim and success. At the end of 2007 Arazm came full circle with the Los Angeles launch of the first restaurant she worked at, Terroni with long time friend and Terroni Canada owner Cosimo Mammoliti, where she ensures the menu and food quality is as good and true to it's original namesake but also imports new chefs and ideas from their Italian outposts to keep things fresh and new. Arazm’s position at the top of a male dominated business has earned her lasting credibility and durability to expand her hit venues and signature style to US markets beyond Los Angeles.
In 2008 Arazm debuted her biggest production yet with the arrival of her daughter Sam.
